The Center for Research in Energy and Mechatronics (CEREM) of the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) is seeking a candidate for participating in an industrial research project involving the development of a magnetic suspension for a flywheel energy storage system. Selected candidate will conduct a PhD during this three-years (18+18 months) project.
Description
Successful applicants would have:
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Background and experience in design and modelling of electromagnetic and electromechanical devices/systems
