Study and development of innovative robust optimization techniques for energy saving in smart buildings

The main objective of the research activity is the study of advanced techniques and algorithms for the robust optimization of the energy consumptions, based on cooperative and/or competitive strategies able to manage high number of unknowns and to estimate the optimal solution on multi-users scenario. The developed techniques will be integrated in the intelligent building management systems in order to give feedback about the optimal behavior for maximum energy saving.
