Pyrogasification environmental assessment of biomass and recovery of secondary raw materials from batteries and accumulators

The study aims to verify:

1. the feasibility of secondary raw materials recovering, as regards to lead and silicates, from batteries and accumulators;

2. the feasibility of selecting of homogeneous families of non lead acid batteries among those are recovered and transported to recycling plants and the further recovery of the fundamental chemical components;

3. the life cycle sustainability of the above mentioned processes.

The study has also the aim to evaluate the environmental sustainability of biomass pyrogasification.
