This researcher will design a delivery device (including proof of concept, physical prototype and device specification) for the myocardial infarction clinical target/indication, conduct risk assessment for this prototype and initial test method development. Also will be required to identify potential conformity pathways for CE approval of this device.

Description

The researcher would hold or expect to obtain a PhD in Biomaterials, Bioengineering and have at least four years of full-time equivalent research experience. The candidate must be fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication and team working skills. Preferred experience includes- Medical Device Design and Development, Quality & Regulatory standards (e.g. ISO 13485, MDD), Sourcing & compiling User requirement, risk assessment (FMEA), Materials processing, CAD/Pro-E design software. Candidate must be self motivated, have good organisational and prioritisation skills and can perform as a sole contributor and as a member of a Team.
