Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow – Economics of Transport and Health

Fixed term for 36 months

You will contribute to projects that cut across the interests of the Institute for Transport Studies (ITS) and the Academic Unit of Health Economics (AUHE) at the University of Leeds. This appointment will add to, and strengthen, various joint initiatives which are already in existence and/or are emerging, including an existing shared research fellow, jointly supervised research students, and a range of collaborations of research projects.

Our joint interests include, but are not restricted, to topics such as:

-  Transport and health impacts at a local authority level

-  Public health benefits of walking and cycling

-  Valuing accessibility to health services

-  Valuing the costs of crime on transport systems

-  System modelling of healthcare provision

 At ITS, you will be affiliated to the Economics & Discrete Choice research group, although activities could potentially span other ITS research groups.

At AUHE, you will operate across the full breadth of the unit.

You will contribute to all activities associated with the initiation, delivery and dissemination of research projects. You will have, or will be close to obtaining a PhD in Transport Economics, Health Economics or a related discipline.

University Grade 7 (£30,122 - £35,938 per annum) or University Grade 8

(£37,012 - £44,166 per annum)
