Role Overview
We have an opportunity for an Associate Director/Principal Consultant with relevant qualifications to be based in our London office.
Key Responsibilities
You will work as part of a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team (within the Environment and Infrastructure group) and liaise with professionals from other environmental disciplines, and developing geotechnical designs, reports and contracts. You will direct and manage projects anywhere in the world and maximize opportunities presented from within Amec Foster Wheeler Companies. You will be responsible for client and account management and will seek to grow the geotechnical expertise within E&I UK Ltd.
Role Requirements
- Typically we would expect someone to have gained between 10 to 20 years experience working in geotechnical disciplines (foundations/dams/rock slopes/tunnel/embankment/road and rail);
- You will be qualified to degree level or equivalent in either Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology;
- You will also be a Chartered Geotechnical Engineer with experience of leading a team and of building business in nuclear, oil and gas, mining and industry/property sectors;
- You will have experience in the private and public sector; site investigation, earthworks, highways, wind farms, foundation design (onshore and offshore), dams and built infrastructure.
