Responsibilities:
As Manager for Nacelle Rear structure and Service systems you will report to the Director and be part of the management team within Nacelle Engineering. You will be responsible for the performance of the entire team including budget, deliveries, people management.
You must ensure and maintain good contact to a large number of stakeholders throughout the value chain, within Technology and such as Sales, Service and Production.
You must at all times have a good overview of the all tasks going on in the department and be prepared to communicate time schedules and resource constraints, and to negotiate priorities.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Budget responsible;
- Perform people management (one-one dialogues, development plans, target settings, competence development etc.);
- Map and fulfill the needs of your key stakeholders (Technology, Manufacturing, Suppliers etc.);
- Drive roadmaps, business cases and project scoping within your area;
- Facilitate planning sessions and follow up on progress;
- Plan resource allocations;
- Identify cost optimizations in processes and products;
- Optimize HW development, test- and release processes and tools;
- Prioritize medium term development activities against short term operational support.
Qualifications:
Your qualifications include:
- Minimum of 2 years management/project management experience from a large organization;
- A bachelor/master in relevant area ex. Mechanical or structural Engineering;
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience as Engineer;
- Experienced in management of development teams;
- Experienced in management of teams/projects with 15+ people;
- Strong leadership and communication skills and capable of acting as a motivator through an open dialogue.
