What you'll do
Trading Systems is managing hundreds of Linux servers and some Windows machines. In order to efficiently manage this server park, we have an increasing need to automate processes. As a Trading System Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining software to manage our complex trading environment.
Next to this you'll have the opportunity to get to know the complex trading environment by supporting our traders. Part of your education will be to work amongst our Trading Application Engineers. Being part of the support crew will make you more effective in designing and implementing software solutions.

As a DevOps Engineer you will:

• be responsible for maintaining the large server infrastructure and its trading components;
• participate in a wide variety of projects;
• deploy and support new software in the trading environment;
• pro-actively think of ways to improve the manageability of the infrastructure with all its components;
• be challenged to understand the complex environment.

What you'll need

• experience as a system engineer (4+ years);
• experience with Linux, Windows, SQL and Networking;
• advanced programming skills in Python;
• you can think in technical solutions as well as in functional requirements;
• hands-on mentality and a critical mind;
• an HBO/WO Bachelor or Master degree level.
