Your function

Technical Expert

You are responsible for defining build and development standards in DLL’s Vendor Finance domain, in conjunction with the Professional Development Services department. You are highly engaged in the Services Strategy Development in conjunction with Enterprise Architecture. You define DLL’s Installed Base roadmaps, in this case for the Vendor Finance domain. 

You are responsible for … 

• Accountable to define DLL’s  Technology Standards and Strategy.
  • define technical policies and standards that build and development activities need to adhere to.
  • review 3rd party vendor/contracting partners deliveries for compliance to policies and standards.
  • follow technology developments and translate that to technical standards and policies.
  • approve any deviations from standards and policies in conjunction with Architecture.
• Developing solutions that meet the unique requirements of our business.
  • engage with the demand organisation to understand business objectives, priorities.
  • creation of scalable and reusable solutions and services enabling stability, complexity and cost reduction.
  • ensure the development and introduction of new systems and changes to existing systems, in line with functional requirements.
  • ensure the execution of changes, in line with change requests or because of technical necessity.
  • ensure the execution of the technical deployment activities in line with defined process.
  • ensure the delivery team is aligned to the architectural principles and innovation initiatives.

Your profile

You have… 

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related, with experience in the defined technology (see below).
• Knowledge of targeted technology areas: Microsoft.NET (specifically C# and ASP.NET), Internet Information Services (IIS), SQL Server, Javascript, JQuery, SSRS, XML, XSLT, Web Services, Code Quality standards and monitoring (SonarQube, Resharper, Code Analysis)
• Knowledge of customer and service oriented working.
• Fluency in speaking and writing English.
• Good project and process management skills.
• Good communications, presentations and interpersonal skills.
• Resource management skills.
• Financial management skills.
