JOB DESCRIPTION
Tasks and responsibilities
- Leading testing activities on photovoltaic modules and cells in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.
- Conduction of the technical staff and coordination of activities concerning the laboratory’s testing equipment with the ISAAC researchers.
- Planning and coordination of test activities and contribution to further development.
- Management of the maintenance and calibration of the equipment.
- Cooperation with the ISAAC Quality Manager with reference to the ISO 17025 accreditation and updating the quality management system.
- Care of customer relations in all technical aspects and representation of the laboratory before national and international authorities and institutions.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- University of Applied Science / Polytechnical or equivalent engineering education in electro-technics, electronics or materials science.
- Proven technical and management skills; knowledge of the ISO, IEC EN standards.
- Several years of practical work experience in an accredited testing laboratory, specific experience in the photovoltaics field will be considered a plus.
- Experience in conducting a team, communication skills and managing all formal aspects.
- Fluency in spoken and written Italian and English; knowledge of German will be an advantage
