Job Description
Manual and automated testing of cutting edge cellular communications related applications for Windows and Android.
Work in a Scrum Team
Work closely with Software Developers to deliver new functionality
Work closely with Product Owners to understand user requirements
Report and manage defects
Manage system acceptance tests
Help to refine our QA processes and procedures
Microsoft Test Manager and TFS 2013 is used to manage sprints, run tests and track bugs
Take part in “Innovation afternoon” and other process improvement company activates
Required Qualifications
BSc or equivalent in computer science or related field
Good knowledge in software testing theory
At least 2 years’ commercial experience with quality assurance activities associated with software development (telecommunication projects preferable)
At least 2 years’ commercial experience in Software development or Test automation scripting, preferable C#
Ability to assimilate business, design, and technical requirements and effect traceability to test planning and execution
Proven work experience in creation of scenarios, test cases, and test scripts. Assist in development of a testing strategy and framework for overall project.
Ability to analyse formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws
Working knowledge of SQL (desirable)
Good command of *nix usage (desirable)
Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management
Advantageous:
Knowledge of GSM, UMTS or LTE technologies
Experience of working in Scrum/Agile
Experience in Mobile testing
