The job primarily requires both strong technical capability and business understanding.
• Responsibilities will include the management, support, maintenance and development of all business applications and underlying databases.
• Optimizing the application usage and identifying opportunities to better utilize them.
• Continuous improvement of the company's information systems and processes through business needs analysis, the development of reports, queries and interfaces.
• Developing and maintaining the company web sites.
• Creating and maintaining documentation on processes, application configuration and support related materials for users as systems are developed.
• Keeping abreast of the application systems features and functionality to maintain skill levels and up-to-date product knowledge.
• Specific challenges include the integration of the various applications and the development of the management reporting package. | | Number of persons required: | 1 | | Qualifications required: | • A degree in IT or MIS (or equivalent).
• Understanding of financial principles, practices, and procedures is a plus
• Customer service experience.
• Business application development experience will be an advantage.
• Implementation, support, maintenance and integration of business applications.
• A working knowledge of ERP applications (preferably MS Dynamics Navision), MS EPM and Jet Reports would be an advantage.
• Good technical documentation writing skills.
