Job description

The department of Mathematics at KTH Engineering Sciences seeks candidates for a number of research projects. The following projects are available:
- Gaussian Stochastic fields
- Computational methods for block and tensor problems
- Construction and analysis of computational methods for molecular dynamics
- Visualizing the machinery of life by 3D electron microscopy
- Analysis and Probability
- Topological and statistical data analysis

A university degree within the field of mathematical sciences (240 credit points) is a necessary qualification. In addition to the traditional academic merits, a thesis project, international experience, and language skills are regarded as advantageous qualifications. Applicants must be strongly motivated for doctoral studies, must possess the ability to work independently and perform critical analysis as well as well as being able to collaborate and work in different groups.
