The University of Worcester offers a number of research studentships each year. These are usually three-year, full-time doctoral research studentships. Applicants should have or be able to demonstrate: (or expect to receive) preferably a MA/MSc in the Socio-cultural aspects of Sport/Sport. Applicants will receive a tax free bursary of £13863.00 for a period of 3 years plus access to a research fund to which applicants can apply for expenses directly related to their research.

Study Subject (s):
This studentship is designed to inform existing debates on Olympic and sport mega-event legacies both within and beyond the UK context. Under the Title: ‘A quest to inspire a generation(?): An historical, policy evaluation and educational-based critique of Olympic legacies in the post London 2012 era’.
