Since then Agilent DG has continuously been a driver in developing the field of immunohistochemistry and cancer diagnostics. Agilent DG delivers world class diagnostic reagents, kits and instruments for fast and accurate answers for cancer patients and doctors making vital decisions for treatment. Agilent DG Denmark resides in the industrial area of Glostrup. The site houses Operations, R&D, Sales & Marketing, Global Service and Administration. More than 600 employees currently work there every day.

THE POSITION 

The vacant position is newly established. The Operating Manager will lead a Finished Production team being responsible for Dilution & Buffer Labs (16 employees in this team – a mix of technicians and operators).

The Operating Manager is overall responsible for Biochemical Production, including
• Production of dilutions and buffers
• Product Release of some dilutions and buffers

The candidate will interact with many people in Agilent DG / Dako - besides working closely together with other colleagues in the Finished Production area the candidate will also work with colleagues in the Production Support and Planning Dept., Regulatory Affairs, QA, and R&D.


In the new position as Operating Manager the right candidate will be able to influence the position frame work in his/her efforts to secure improved business results. 





The Operating Manager must continuously improve:
• Productivity through optimizing and implementing new processes and technology
• GMP and quality level, by reducing errors in batch documentation and non-conformities
• Lead time related to both technical and business processes, working towards less complexity and increase flexibility
• Cost of poor quality, scrap and rework/reprocessing

Qualifications:Basic Qualifications and Requirements for the job
• A formal education as BSC. Or MSc. in e.g. natural sciences, medicine, pharmacy or engineering
• Min. 4 years’ experience in Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Medicotech or In Vitro Diagnostic. 
• Experience with formulation and/or filling would be an advantage
• Experience within LEAN and continuous improvement tools and processes.
• Knowledge of Quality System Standards (ISO13485,FDA CFR 21 Part 820) and IVD/Medical Devices legislation in EU and USA.
• People Management experience from manufacturing company.
