Main tasks:
Certification measurements and Optimization of Fleet Performance
- Power curve measurements according IEC 61400-12:
- Organization, preparation and managing of power curve measurements.
- Load measurements according IEC 61400-13:
- Organization, preparation and managing of load measurements.
- Noise measurements:
- Organization, preparation and managing of noise measurements.
- Measurement Campaigns:
- Organization and performing of specific campaigns based upon internal requirements;
- Comparison of measurement results with simulation results;
- Testing and analysing of new sensors, new devices based upon internal requirements;
- Establishing new and redefining existing measurement procedures.
Load simulation:
- Overall load simulation of onshore wind turbines.
Fleet performance optimization
- Data analysis and derivation of procedure to improve/harmonize fleet performance.
Field activities
- Test and commissioning of WTG worldwide;
- Support for field technicians worldwide;
- Production control and survey of WTG components manufacturers (QA/QC);
- Training of employees and clients at office and site.
Requirements:
- Degree in physical, electrical or mechanical engineering;
- >3 years experience in wind turbine measurement area;
- Good knowledge in multi-body simulation tools (e.g. Flex5, Bladed, etc.);
- Very good wind turbine understanding (control and systems);
- Good knowledge about rules and regulation for certification measurements of turbines;
- Good English skills (verbal and written).
