Description of the job
A temporary position has raisen for Maintenance Programmes Engineer in Airbus AOSL-Getafe Spain.
Tasks & accountabilities
Input: Engineering data (design information, modification proposals…), In service experience feedback & Regulations (e.g EASA CS25) and International Standards (e.g ATA MSG3)
Mission: Define scheduled maintenance top level aircraft requirements for new designs, Develop detailed requirements, validate and verify their implementation into the design, Develop the aircraft initial maintenance program, Revise and optimise maintenance programs according to design changes, regulation changes and in service experience feedback & Support operators for any maintenance program related matter
Output: Maintenance Program Requirements, Validation and verification of Design, MSG3 analyses, maintenance task evolution dossiers and approved Maintenance Review Board Reports (MRBR) (new and revised), ALS Parts 2, 3, 4 & 5 justification documents, Answer to customer queries and on site assistance to customers.
Maintainability and maintenance programme •
For aircraft under development:
Provides the Engineering Function with maintainability requirements, utilizing in-service experience and engineering expertise, challenges design against customer expectations (see for more information AP2605).
Develops cost efficient maintenance programmes in accordance with airworthiness and ICAO standards as required for Type Certification (see for more information AP2550). •
For in-service aircraft:
Establishes and delivers (all programmes) timely and consistent solutions to the daily queries raised by the customers.
Ensures regular revisions of the maintenance programme, considering the in-service experience.
Provide support for Direct Maintenance Costs reductions.
Required skills
As the successful candidate, you will need:
- At least 5 years of experience in the required domain
- Chartered Engineer Aeronautical/ Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent;
- Good communication skills and a pro-active approach to problem solving;
- Strong English skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent verbal communication.
- The ability to work to strict timescales as part of an integrated, multidiscipline team;
