Our client develops, manufactures and delivers solutions for governments worldwide. Since its creation our client has been developing cutting edge products thereby becoming a leader for wireless solutions market. Job Description: Development primarily in C++ under Linux environments for embedded units. Development is mainly of core functionalities within a GSM core network. Involvement in the full product life cycle: research, design, coding, testing and maintenance Carry out peer coding reviews Analyse complex scenarios and attention to performance and stability Qualifications required: BSc or equivalent in computer science or related field Solid hands on experience in C/C++. Experience in full design, development and testing life cycle You should be fully conversant with working in and developing for a GNU/Linux environment. Contribution to an open-source project is an advantage Excellent analytical and programming skills Experience in GSM/UMTS/LTE network development is an advantage Experience in multithreading and time critical environment is an advantage Embedded systems experience, e.g. operating system deployment, cross-compilation toolchains, debugging techniques, ARM, Bash scripting is an advantage Experience in POSIX API and network stack development experience is an advantage Other requirements: Excellent English EU passport is a major advantage Able to work effectively individually or as part of a small team Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure Good communication skills Remuneration & Benefits Excellent basic salary including 13th salary Annual bonus Medical insurance for the employee and immediate family Free parking Free meals in house Relocation package if the employee lives outside of Cyprus Medical insurance |
