The Center for Economic Psychology at the Department of Psychology of the University of Basel, Switzerland, is seeking applicants for a post-doctoral researcher for a period of 2 years with the possibility to extend the position for further years. The ideal candidate would have a Ph.D. in psychology, cognitive science, computer science, neuroscience or a related field, solid knowledge in cognitive psychology and research methods and an interest in applying these skills to understand the cognitive processes underlying human decision making. Experience with cognitive modelling (using Matlab or R) or imaging techniques (e.g. fMRI, EEG) is desirable. Applicants will be part of an international research group and an English-speaking environment. The required teaching may be conducted in German or English. The salary will be very competitive and additional resources for funding experiments and conference travel are available.
