Description
For our WATER & HEAT Business Line (500 M$ Revenues, 9 industrial sites, and 27 Sales sites), in the Scandinavia area we are looking for a Scandinavia Sales Manager. Reporting to the Sales Manager Central Europe & Scandinavia, you are in charge of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland markets.
Duties & Responsibilities
- This position is responsible primarily for expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory, but will also occasionally pursue new account development;
- Research and compile lists of potential opportunities from prospective customers;
- Visit regular and prospective customers to identify opportunities consistent with Itron's current set of solutions and strategic direction;
- Introduce and educate about new Itron solutions portfolio;
- Prepare customer offers, answers to tenders and sales contracts;
- Follow-up on orders and coordination between organizations to ensure orders are filled and world-class customer service is provided;
- With support of Itron Solution delivery team, coordinate Itron activity within the customer organization including training, system implementation, and service;
- Take part in budget elaboration and be responsible for the results (revenue and cost). Prepare business reports for management.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years of professional sales experience in related utilities industry;
- Proven track record in prospecting, closing and growing business accounts in the above mentioned industries;
- Excellent command of English and Swedish languages;
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to manage one's own time, flexibility.
Education Bachelor's degree in Business and Engineering requested with business aptitude and strong communication skills.
