Your ideas are our fuel.For our Rail Control Solutions Business Unit in Stockholm, we are looking for a Software Developer to join our team!Your RoleAs a part of a cohesive team working in an international environment, your part will be to specify, develop, implement, test and commission functions for the Traffic Management System, EBI Screen, in the Engineering and Product Development (EAPD) department. EBI Screen is a system that allows traffic controllers to plan, control and monitor the railway and the train movements for nationwide railway networks.A graphical user interface provides continuously updated information about the traffic which can be automatically or manually controlled by the traffic controllers. The EBI Screen handles many different interfaces and standards, such as ERTMS, and is commissioned all over the world. Therefore you must be able to travel both domestically and internationally to meet external as well as internal stakeholders in our projects.Your role will start with system adaptation and implementation as well as testing/validation for the products. Afterwards, the role will also focus on defining specifications for the new requirements during discussions with our customers.The scope of your activity will enable you to also participate in the later stage of a project, that involves commissioning and on site testing.Thus, you will have visibility upon the whole life-cycle of a project from start to end.QualificationsQualificationsWe see that a successful candidate for this role will have:• A B.Sc., preferably a M.Sc. Degree in Computer Engineering• 2-3 years of experience in Software Development• Comprehensive knowledge of object orientated programming. Most desirable tools are Delphi, C#, Pascal and .Net• Fluent Swedish and English language skills• Independence in his/her way of working• Possibility to travel 10%• Railway signalling knowledge is preferableWhat We OfferAs a Software Developer in the EAPD team, you will have strong international exposure and will impact the course of a project through the input that you bring.
