Scope
As part of the Transversal Infrastructure team, you will work on many challenging programming aspects in order to deliver a common software framework integrated in multiple products.
You will be involved in the different steps of the development process: analysis, technical specification, design, development, unit testing, technical documentation and maintenance.
As a member of a cross-functional team of 4-5 persons, you will work closely with your peers in a fast paced dynamic environment.
Job description
As part of the team, you will:
- Analyze and review requirements and discuss technical feasibility
- Develop new software components or modify existing ones
- Participate in peer code reviews
- Plan, define, and perform unit testing/integration testing, and report about tests results
- Create or maintain technical documentation
- Integrate individual software components developed by yourself, other members of the development team or external providers
- Solve defects reported in the defect tracking system
- Identify risks and discuss them with the team for building adequate test plans
- Make work estimates for the tasks assigned to you and your team
- Plan, track and report your daily work and your assigned tasks, to your team/direct manager
- Identify and propose process or code improvements
Profile
You have an Engineer, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, with a few years of professional experience working as a developer. You wish to participate in development projects of innovative applications in the Broadcast domain and are willing to learn from others while bringing your own set of competencies:
- Good object-oriented programming skills
- Experience in C# and Java
- Experience in Windows and Linux programming
