RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Quickly learn the basics of the technical and operational business of the lime industry;
- Participate to the organization of the new Engineering Office;
- Define/Supervise the front-end engineering for Capex projects;
- Develop an in-house concept for lime plants & workshops, including all the technical aspects;
- Produce and/or validate the technical documents required for the cost estimate;
- Handle the different phases of the investment and implement project reviews related to design, safety and capex optimization (Value Engineering);
- Assist the project managers in evaluating the required staffing and possible issues;
- Complete site visits as per required evaluating site conditions, tie-ins in general, and other items that could impact the project design and constructability;
- Generate own insights and recommendation to further optimize reliability, quality and costs of the plant;

English (any other language is an asset)
Competences and attitudes:
- Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 10 year experience in similar businesses with emphasis on multi-side and international environment - International experience will be highly regarded;
- Be innovative and creative in managing Engineering, Capex and improvement projects;
- Able to identify main leavers to optimize the overall cost structure;
- Able to manage workload internally and externally;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to manage a team of engineers;
- Strong analytical planning and organizational skills;
- Strategic thinking;
- Sensitive to key performance indicators in place (ROCE, EBITDA, FCF);
- Fluent English – Any other languages is an asset;
- Willing to travel (internationally up to 30%)
