Exploration of ultra-low power wake-up radios to achieve energy neutrality in WSN

The objective of this activity is to explore to what extent the energy-efficiency of a WSN can further improved by using wake-up radio technology.

The activity will explore the pros and cons of this technology, using prototypes and models.

Analysis on performance and limitations will be assessed. The activity will explore the extent of modifications that are necessary to a staple WSN stack to make it aware of (and exploit) wake-up radios
