Job summary

 

The Global Application Specialist resides in the Verification and Validation team and assists in product validation and testing of software prior to its release.

Because of the expert domain knowledge, the Global Application Specialist also provides support and assistance to customers, AGFA Sales and Services Units and development centers.

He/she creates training materials and delivers application trainings about AGFA Enterprise solutions offerings to customers and AGFA colleagues across the world.

These trainings include upgrade trainings, train-the-trainer programs, end-use trainings and configuration trainings and can be performed on AFGA premises or on customer’s site.

In addition, he/she is asked to perform pre-sales consultancy and demonstrations to potential customers on conferences, in-house AGFA demo centers or on customer’s site.

Through the support channels, the global application specialist is also available to provide expert support for specific expert matters.

 

Responsibilities


As a Global Application Specialist you are responsible for : 

  • Defining & developing validation test scripts.
  • Non-medical validation and performing Verification tests.
  • Creating training manuals, outlines and other training documentation.
  • Providing professional trainings to customers and AGFA colleagues.
  • Assisting in the specifications analysis of products and systems together with the Product Team’s Product Managers, and other Product Team members.
  • Advising to release products, based on the results of the non-medical tests and the field trial tests according to the quality and regulatory standards.
  • Being present at important Field Trial, contributing and getting involved in customer discussions, globally.
  • Preparing for & supporting during exhibitions. 

Qualifications 

  • You have a Bachelor (or higher) in Radiography, Nursing or Computer Science/Engineering .
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare industry.
  • You are able to work with MS-Office Tools, any other relevant IT knowledge is considered  as an asset.
  • You have notions of Healthcare standards such as HL7, Dicom, IHE.
  • You have good communication skills and you are open minded.
  • You have strong analytical skills.
  • You have a critical approach of problems & questions.
  • You are driven.
  • You have a good knowledge of Dutch, English and French.
  • You are willing to travel.
