Job description
Imec enjoys a world-class reputation in integrated circuit and system design and technology development. Using these skills, imec develops specialty image sensor products using its own proprietary technology. As Senior Analog Circuit Designer you will be involved in the design and qualification of analog and mixed-signal circuits and systems for these image sensor development projects, in close interaction with the customer.


You will:

  • Participate in the design and implementation of analog and mixed-signal building blocks (e.g. amplifiers, ADCs, clock circuitry, digital interfaces & drivers) for image sensor products;
  • Test and validate your designs in our laboratories;
  • Collaborate with specialists from other cross-disciplinary teams;
  • Support external partners that use our technology.

Moreover you will work in an ecosystem of knowledge in high-tech state-of-the-art electronics, in a world-renowned R&D company. Imec holds 2000 people of staff working on advanced technology development and system design, in a wide spectrum of topics including analog circuit design, material and technology development, radio communication, bio-medical applications, MEMS systems, image sensors, optical communication, flexible electronics, solar cells, power electronics...

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Profile

  • You have a Master of Science or a PhD degree in Electronics. 
  • You have at least 10 years of analog design experience, and show solid and excellent proficiency in analog CMOS design and technologies. 
  • You have demonstrated successfully going through concept-design-validation for complex Analog ICs using Cadence tools. 
  • Experience in the field of image sensor design and experience in an industrial context are a plus. 
  • Experience in digital design is an asset.
  • You have a natural desire to analyze and solve problems and you are self-critical. 
  • You are result driven and focus on customer satisfaction. 
  • You are a good team player, able to pursue and find compromise. 
  • You have competent communication and reporting skills. 
  • The international character of imec requires that you are able to express yourself fluently in English.
