Postdoctoral Associate (Ref: IRG_BioSyM_2015_003)

The Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) Centre invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position in the area of Optical imaging. The successful candidate will be expected to work on biological imaging, fundamental work on imaging theory, experimental demonstrations and prototype development, and building/deployment of experimental apparatus for applications are all of critical importance for the ongoing work at SMART.

Description

Candidates with an earned or soon-to-be-earned doctoral degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Biological/Computer Engineering/Physics or Biology and related disciplines will be considered, provided their research track record is in the broad areas of bio-imaging, microscopy, computational inverse problems, image processing, electromagnetics, physical/ray optics, optical design, opto-mechanics, machine vision, and related disciplines. Ideally the successful candidate should be able to be involved and/or supervise more junior researchers in all aspects of research, i.e. fundamental/ prototype development/ deployment.
