The Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) Centre invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position in the area of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Big Data applied to biological and medical data. The successful candidate will be expected to work on developing and applying algorithms from computer science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistics to analyze data from a variety of biological, health, and medical sources. Fundamental work on basic technologies, novel approaches, and ground-breaking applications are all of critical importance for the ongoing work at SMART.
Description
Candidates with an earned or soon-to-be-earned doctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computational Biology or related field will be considered, provided their research track record is in the broad areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, medical or biological data analysis, or allied areas. Ideally the successful candidate should be able to be involved and/or supervise more junior researchers in all aspects of research.
