University Funded PhD Studentships

The University of Wolverhampton is the ‘University of Opportunity’, committed to developing students and staff who are entrepreneurial, eminently employable and well-connected within a research and professionally informed environment. We have invested heavily in new research leadership positions over the last two years and now want to develop a new generation of academics who share our values.

We are looking for exceptional individuals to fill a new cohort of PhD studentships in areas where the University plans to grow and develop new academic provision in the next five years. They are aimed at ambitious individuals early in a potential academic career who are determined to succeed and move swiftly into academia. Those who take these studentships will be considered for appropriate academic positions at the University upon successful completion of their doctoral studies.
