Job profile
Goal
The Project manager Cacao will be responsible for all project management activities, including project leadership, project planning, project execution, project control, and business results. You will manage and/or coordinate the engineering, construction and process activities and to assist in start-ups in cooperation with other technical departments by taking into account all relevant Cargill rules and local regulations. You will report to the Technical Manager Projects.
Tasks & Responsibilities
You provide strategic vision to the project team utilizing an extensive knowledge of project management practices, strategies and procedures. You identify, recommend and implement project management and asset effectiveness best practices. You adjust and update budget of the project to stay within the allocation. You will define technical project objectives utilizing extensive knowledge of project management practices and procedures. Furthermore you will be travelling 30% of your working time.
Candidate profile
As a Project manager Cacao you ideally have a master degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Engineering & Construction environments as a project manager. You have a proven track record within applying best practices and project controls principles, knowledge of contingency policies and procedures. You have demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching team members. Strong prioritization, time management and organization skills. Fluent English (both verbal and in writing), knowledge of Dutch, French or German is an asset.
