A vacancy for a Development Engineer Spacecraft & Instr. Operations (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Friedrichshafen. The successful applicant will join “FA Eng & Lead FHN”.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Acting as Design Development Engineer /Junior Architect for Satellite/Instrument operations & the satellite reference database (SRDB)
- Developing operational concepts and FDIR concepts for the Satellite/Instrument
- Generating inputs for Flight Operations Manuals and Satellite/Instrument User Manuals
- Developing and testing On-board Control Procedures
- Generating inputs for test documents and test specifications
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Educated to degree level in Engineering (Simulations, Modelling, Aerospace Engineering)
- Experience in engineering
- Excellent communication skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Negotiation level in English and German
