Aim of the Job:

Coordination of individual projects through the whole project life-cycle, from the idea generation to the execution phase of approved projects.
The project technical content is most commonly about setting hydrocarbon fields into operation with drilling the necessary wells and building the required surface facilities.

The job requires the candidate to demonstrate excellent team leading skills and efficient communication skills towards multiple stakeholders such as the contributing organisations and to motivate project team members. Additionally, solution focused and goal oriented attitude with a flexible and problem solving approach towards unforeseen factors is expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for individual projects as a project leader and for ensuring efficient planning and execution;
  • Responsible for managing assigned projects according to the approved technical content, quality standards, timeframe and CAPEX scope;
  • Responsible for determining project process risks and for managing risks with the proper actions;
  • Responsible for the coordination and motivation of the project team members;
  • Contribute to the improvement of the project management process, seek and initiate accelerating actions and strive for efficient and effective operation;
  • Responsible for the transparent and traceable operation of assigned projects and for providing the necessary reports.

Requirements:

  • Technical University or College degree;
  • Advanced level of English;
  • Advanced level of Hungarian;
  • Minimum 5 years' project management experience and practice in managing and successfully delivering complex projects;
  • High-level knowledge and application of project management processes;
  • Experience in team management, previous experience in successfully managing a project team;
  • Effective and accurate communication towards multiple stakeholders;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Intermediate user of MS Office programs;
  • 'B' category driving licence (experienced driver).

Advantages:

  • Oil & gas or mechanical engineering university degree;
  • Economist university degree as a secondary degree;
  • Project management experience in the oil&gas industry, building industry or in any other similar fields of expertise;
  • Former education or training in project management;
  • Intermediate user of MS Project program.
