HelpAge International's vision is one of a world where older people fulfil their potential to lead active, dignified, healthy and secure lives. We are the Secretariat of the HelpAge network, bringing together more than 114 affiliates and 200 partners working with older people in over 50 countries. HelpAge is now looking for a First Line IT Support Assistant to provide support to all staff in the London office and remote advisory support to all International offices. In addition to this, assist in supporting our Office365 environment.

Working within the London based IT team, support and administer HelpAge International’s Cloud based communications system (Office365); internal training in the use of database applications software to staff members; work closely with

the IT Manager to ensure HelpAge IT equipment is asset managed; develop new Internal IT systems; manage and monitor all Internet lines & internal IT systems; manage the loan system for all HelpAge Laptops and Smartphone devices; and assist the IT manager with the VOIP systems.

The ideal candidate will have significant work experience in a busy IT support environment and knowledge of MS Office. You will also have working knowledge of TCP/IP, Windows 7, Windows XP 7 or 8 MCP, Macs and Vista. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to meet deadlines are also essential for this role.
