Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

WaterAid is looking for a IT Infrastructure Engineer to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities.

Working within our busy IT department of ten IT professionals, the role of Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer will be supporting the IT infrastructure within the UK and our international offices across a wide range of technologies, including VMware, virtual desktops and servers. In addition, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to travel to WaterAid international offices to provide specialist technical support in the design and implementation of local IT infrastructure.

We’re looking for a flexible and creative individual with excellent problem solving skills. In addition you will need to have proven experience in Virtual IT infrastructures and VMware, including VMware desktops, and experience of Microsoft operating systems. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective professional relationships at all levels.
