Sapienza University of Rome has issued a call for 19 three-year, full-time postgraduate PhD fellowships (2015-16).

Applications are open to candidates who:
- Are not Italian citizens;
- Are not legally resident in Italy;
- Have obtained an academic title from a non-Italian institution that meets admission requirements.

Each fellowship amounts to a total of €19,800 per year.
The fellowship does not cover the annual entrance fee (about 30,00 euros) and does not cover expenses for research periods spent abroad.

Sapienza PhD Programmes last three years. At the end of years one and two, doctoral students will be evaluated to ascertain they are in line with fellowship requirements.
