Applications are now open for a PhD studentship investigating the role of the noncoding genome in regulating gene expression in cancer.

Exceptional candidates with a background in biology, computer science or mathematics are all invited to apply.

The successful applicant will join a highly interdisciplinary research group that integrates bench science with computational biology, genomics, statistics and computing to study how transcriptional programmes are altered in cancer cells, and how individual transcripts help control these patterns of expression.

Interested students will find full project descriptions and information on how to apply at; www.cruk.manchester.ac.uk/Education

Informal enquiries should be addressed to Dr Crispin Miller; crispin.miller@cruk.manchester.ac.uk
