Offshore Independents is growing fast. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Structural Engineer.

The job

As Structural Engineer with Offshore Independents, your main tasks will be to prepare analysis, designs, drawings and reports for, amongst others, offshore installations. You will determine the allowable criteria from international design codes, perform calculations regarding structures' load support resistance and advise which construction materials are appropriate. You will attend project kick-off and progress meetings and interface with various departments and clients.

Your CV

• Minimal a Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering;
• A minimum of 2 years working experience as Structural Engineer, preferably in the Offshore Industry;
• Proficient with Ansys and 3D drawing software;
• Competent knowledge of international design codes;
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Your personality

You are proactive, flexible and you have excellent analytic skills. Besides that, you are an accomplished Engineer who can 'think outside the box' and you are accurate and innovative in your approach to Structural Design. Although you are able to work on your own, you are also a team player who enjoys working in an international environment.
