In this position your are responsible for managing all necessary actions to ensure flawless execution of your development project (new development projects or related cost reduction projects). While managing multiple projects together with your cross functional project team you are accountable for project goals in terms of quality, cost and delivery, development and productivity. This means in detail:
Ensure coherence between project goals and customer needs Manage budgets & team resources Lead interdisciplinary project teams consisting of the functions engineering, sourcing & purchasing, quality, manufacturing, product marketing etc. Develop and track project planning, define and track targets for each function in the project team Drive projects through phases & gate reviews Ensure execution of all roadmaps within your projects Lead modification processes (change requests, cost reductions, lead-time & targets) Assure compliance of WABCO’s and customers’ quality plan Enhance project communication Animate risk assessment, escalations and continuous improvement proposals Regular project reporting
