FUNCTION
You will be based in Brussels and will report to the R&D Management. The expectation is to manage in parallel medium size technical projects from scope definition to delivery within agreed scope, budget and schedule.
Your mission will consist in:
- Obtaining and understanding prioritised requirements from the stakeholders;
- Defining the project budget, planning and approach in order to meet the agreed requirements within the requested timeframe;
- Coordinating actively the development activities (development, integration testing, documentation) performed by the development team;
- Ensuring appropriate reporting on a continual basis to the team and steering committees;
- Managing project risks and escalating issues while making proposals when appropriate;
- Participating actively to the writing of documentation and procedures.
PROFILE
- You have a Master’s degree (in Engineering, IT or a Scientific field);
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar function;
- You have an appropriate technical background and are familiar with computer technology and software. (Eclipse, Jboss, Cruisecontrol, Maven, Jenkins, JSF, HTML5, css, javascript, angularjs, phonegap, J2EE, hibernate,…);
- Knowledge of the banking industry is an asset;
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum principles is an asset;
- Knowledge of English is required. Knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
