Excellence Fellowship Programme, University College London (UCL), UK (2015-2016)

The appointment will be full time on UCL Grade 8-9. The salary range will be Grade 8 (£41,430 – £48,873) or Grade 9 (£53,119 – £57,760) per annum (clinical equivalent where appropriate), inclusive of London Allowance.

UCL’s Excellence Fellowship Programme seeks to recruit the highest calibre early career researchers from across the globe, supporting them to establish their independent career and become the outstanding research leaders of the future. Fellowship posts are available across the School of Life and Medical Sciences, which comprises the Faculties of Brain Sciences, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences and Population Health Sciences.

Applications are welcome from clinical and non-clinical researchers in disciplines across the life and biomedical sciences, including clinical, applied and population health science. In addition, two further posts are available in specific subject areas: one post is available in experimental medicine research in the area of cancer, cardiometabolic, neuroscience, or Infection, Immunity and Inflammation. One post – the Leonard Wolfson UCL Excellence Fellowship, is funded by the Leonard Wolfson Experimental Neurology Centre at UCL and is available in the field of neurodegeneration.
