Regional Sales Manager in Lyon France

Job Description

To provide leadership to the direct and indirect sales channel in the region of France and French speaking North Africa for all MTL product lines. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the achievement of sales objectives for the region, and the development & implementation of sales plans in line with the business strategy. • To own the strategic growth initiatives at the regional level, ensure plans are in place and reviewed regularly to meet the growth objectives. • To recruit, develop, motivate and manage the sales team to achieve individual objectives and overall objectives. To build future leadership capability within the team. • To work with all Sales Product Specialist, Sales Managers and Product Line Managers s to ensure that they understand fully the activities in the region in order to optimize sales and profits. • To own the top 20 project pursuits for the region and ensure that a strategy for success is developed and implemented for each of these projects. • To be the owner of the regional orders and sales budget and develop/ implement the regional business plan in line with budget expectations. • To own the regional SG&A budget and manage expenditure accordingly • To drive the use of the global standard sales tools such CRM through the local team ensuring all forecast data remains current • To provide regular reporting to the Product Line Managers and senior sales management concerning the local market, competitive activities and customer feedback. • To prepare all required financial forecasting and reporting on time. • To fully demonstrate close co-operation with all MTL sales regions and Eaton sales colleagues in the region. • To understand and articulate the overall objectives of the company regarding global sales strategies and communicate them in a meaningful way to the regional sales team • To develop and drive distribution channels, provide direct management with the aim of supporting overall growth objectives • To develop relationships at senior levels in key customers in the region • Work within and champion the Eaton rules and policies for Ethical behaviour and Trade Compliance and ensure compliance within your team Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)

Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent B.S.,Electrical/Process Engineering preferred Experienced sales professional, ideally with major EPC amd DCS companies Regional Sales Manager France-Lyon 81315BR
