PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE OF JOB

In 2012, the SAP organization opened a Near Shore Services Centre in Portugal, which is providing SAP consulting services to customers across EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). Learn more about us at www.sap.pt.and our customers at www.saprunbetter.com.

We are looking for Young Graduates and/or Young professionals to be trained in SAP Solutions, in order to build competencies to address requirements of customers, in various industries and to deliver solutions to EMEA Customers.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS OF JOB

The position is an entry level position, with opportunity to grow within the role and with responsibilities over time. We have several open positions for Junior Consultants in the following areas:
Finance

• The primary purpose of this role is to address specific requirements of SAP customers in the SAP Finance

Logistics

• The primary purpose of this role is to address specific requirements of SAP customers in the SAP Logistics.

Business Analytics & Tecnology (SAP Business Intelligence)

• The primary purpose of this role is to be involved in the implementation of SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence and SAP Business Objects Data Services solutions, since its sizing and installation but also gathering customer requirements and implementing them choosing the best component of the SAP BO solutions.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Requirements for Financial & Logistic roles : * University degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Management or HR Management
• Good theoretical knowledge of ERP financial, accounting and logistics processes
• Requirements for the Business Analytics & Technology: * University degree in Computer science, Information Technology, Mathematic or an IT-related discipline
• Good theoretical knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts
• IT Enterprise resource planning and business analytic software knowledge; an understanding of SAP Business Objects solutions is a plus
   

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Perform Remote/Onsite application specific solution consulting
• Deploy pre-engineered and “assemble-to-order” delivery principles to reduce customer’s Total Cost of Investment
• Participating in Statement Of Work creation and estimating under guidance from a Bid Manager
• Providing a creative source of ideas/solutions to address problems
• Delivering billable components that meets a customer’s needs
• Traineeship or working experience in one or more of the knowledge areas will be considered an advantage.
• Strong facility with teamwork and an ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Good presentation and communication skills, open minded w/ customer focus
• Learning capacity and the will to acquire new skills
• Fluent in English (at business level) and in one of the following: Spanish, Italian, French or Portuguese
• Available to extensive travel and willingness to participate in international projects
