| Job description: | The technical writer will be responsible for making Company’s technical information easy to use, easy to understand, and easy to find. As a company, we deal with highly complex domains and tasks. Our customers and developers require high quality technical information that is accurate, clear, complete, relevant, concrete, organized, retrievable, task-oriented and effective. • Reviewing existing technical documentation (user guides, manuals). • Collaborating with the user experience team to improve the quality and usability of technical information that is delivered to customers. • Ensuring that copy that gets published across print and online media is correct, accurate and engaging. • Elucidating complex concepts and tasks presented in technical specifications, online help systems, FAQs, user guides and manuals. • Improving the searchability, availability and delivery of technical information across all systems and sites. • Documenting business processes in collaboration with the management team. • Improving customer support documentation, guidelines and procedures in collaboration with the support team. |

| Qualifications required: | BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelors or Masters in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or related disciplines, OR demonstrated ability in creating and delivering high quality technical information. • Ideally, 2+ years of related work experience with a proven track record of delivering accurate, relevant and effective technical documentation. • Excellent communication skills in English. Additional language skills a plus. • Familiarity with style guides and typographic conventions. • Familiarity with markup languages (XML, HTML, SGML) and style sheets (CSS, DSSSL). • Excellent interpersonal and group collaboration skills. • Self-starter and proactive. |
| Other requirements: | Due to the nature of our work, the technical writer will need to be willing to constantly learn new things, liaise with customers, support personnel, managers & developers and tackle new problems and challenges. |
