Position Description

Purpose of the Position

The incumbent is responsible for project management, design, implementation and support of Business Intelligence and Dashboarding services for ICC and its clients.

Objectives of the Programme

The objectives of the Centre, as stated by its mandate, are to provide information and communication technology (ICT) services (including training) on an inter-organizational basis.

Summary of Assigned Duties

Under the supervision of the Head, Application Management Section, the incumbent will be responsible for the design, development, test and support of Dashboarding and Reporting applications. He/she will :

• Lead the specification and software design phases
• Manage the design and implementation of ICC and Partners Dashboarding Applications
• Ensure the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements
• Be responsible for meeting development schedules
• Help and support the project manager in the daily operational facets
• Perform other duties as required

Education

Essential:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Experience

Essential:

• Six years of IT work experience with at least 5+ years' experience in designing, developing and supporting business intelligence application using .NET and Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012 Analysis, Reporting and Integration services
• Experience in installation, configuration and support of Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012 Analysis, Reporting and Integration services offering high availability and disaster recovery
• Minimum 5 years of experience of .NET Development
• Minimum 5 years of experience of Data Base and Data Warehouse Design
• Minimum 2 years of experience of scripting Windows and Office 365 PowerShell API

Desirable:

• Sizing and design of SQL Server and BI infrastructure
• Operational experience with ICT services delivery: design, implementation and administration of applications, collaborative and messaging systems
• Experience with ITSM solution

Languages

• Expert knowledge of English is required
• Intermediate knowledge of French is desirable
