Job description:
You will be working on projects entrusted to us by the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, in particular on all pre-project phases (master plans, programs, preliminary studies, conceptual design) as a project manager. You will join our internal project teams in collaboration with engineers of different disciplines.
You will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary engineering projects since the commercial proposal stage until early detailed studies.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Develop new production units by ensuring the following steps:
- Data collection and processes analysis;
- General arrangement planning;
- Analysis of support functions and constructability;
- Planning, risk and cost evaluation;
- Assist the sales department in the commercial proposal stage by drafting offers and ensuring their presentation to our customers;
- Manage the planning and organizing the complete execution of operations entrusted to you during project implementation;
- Ensure the proper organization of the project team;
- Ensure the respect of the quality requirements, standards and practices at all levels;
- Follow-up the budget and associated reports (objectives, duration, cost and quality);
- Ensure implementation of tools and internal standards throughout the project, contributing to their optimization;
- Assist our customers to promote their projects within their organization.
Your profile:
- You are engineer or chemist, you have acquired between 5 and 10 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, in particular in the process functions;
- You worked on pharmaceutical projects from design to construction, either within a pharmaceutical company or through an engineering and consulting company;
- You have acquired skills in various pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and you are familiar with GMP regulations. Experience in operational functions (production, quality, etc ..) would be an advantage;
- You are rigorous, independent, curious, with good communication skills and the ability to manage projects in an international context. You are able to demonstrate the ability of persuasion and listening;
- Great understanding of customer relationship and the ability to inspire and demonstrate leadership in customer relations is something that comes natural.
- You are flexible and ready to travel a lot if needed;
- You speak fluently Dutch and/or French, as well as English.
