Task Description:
Telindus is looking for an Experienced Backbone Engineer to strengthen its Telindus Telecom Department.
Your mission:
- Engineering (20%): Technical development and testing of new Products and Services. Design of complex Network architectures. Capacity planning.
- Projects (40%): implementation of connectivity projects for B2B customers. Project Coordination.
- Operations (40%): Work for day-to-day Operations. Provide maintenance for the MPLS backbone, the DWDM ROADM backbone, and the ISP platform. Acting as level-2 and Level-3 support. Be part of the on-call duty support 24x7.
Your Profile:
- Master in Telecom or equivalent,
- 5 years of relevant experience,
- French and/or English, German is an asset,
- Advanced technical knowledge in DWDM and/or MPLS Carrier Ethernet,
- Advanced knowledge in Network protocols (IP, BGPv4, OSPF),
- Knowledge in Monitoring systems (snmp, scripts, MRTG, …),
- Team Player, can do, passion,
- Knowledge of Carrier class platforms (Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco) is definitively an asset,
- Experience in deploying DWDM infrastructure is an asset,
- Able to lead a complex project, result oriented,
- Good communication skills.
