Function
The Project Engineering Manager is responsible for the deliverance of the engineering work scope within time, budget and of a high quality for large size projects of high complexity. You are responsible for the technical integrity of the project and establish and manage one or multiple engineering teams. Furthermore you develop the engineering execution plan, schedule and budget and ensure adherence thereto. You approve all engineering output compliant to safety and quality requirements. You also
obtain design approval from client, certifying and governmental authorities.
In this position you report to the Department Head Engineering.
Requirements
We are looking for a skilled communicator, strong motivator and team manager with excellent planning and organisational skills. You will offer assistance and initiate improvements. Furthermore:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline.
- Over 12 years of relevant experience in engineering.
- Over 4 years of Project Engineering experience in leadership and multiple engineering disciplines.
- Extensive engineering experience in offshore and/or oil & gas industry.
- Very good knowledge of Bluewater’s products, procedures/systems.
- Computer literacy for relevant engineering tools, discipline calculations, document processing, spreadsheets and database management.
