CAN YOU INSPIRE A FUTURE GENERATION OF PHYSICISTS, CHEMISTS AND MATHEMATICIANS?

Generous bursaries are now available for STEM PhD, MSc and MSci Graduates to train as teachers in London-based Secondary schools

  • Do you have, or will you have a PhD or MSc / MSci in Physical Sciences, Maths or Engineering by August 2015?
  • Are you interested in playing a pivotal role in an innovative project aimed at raising the aspirations of secondary school pupils to study Physics, Chemistry and Maths?
  • Are you keen to bridge the gap between research and school teaching to engage young people in science?
  • Would you like to gain a teaching qualification (PGCE)?

If yes, then the INSPIRE programme will be of interest to you!

Applicants from the UK/EU are invited for a nine and a half month PGCE studentship. Students will be paid a very attractive bursary (an additional amount on the top of the grant provided by the government).
