We are currently looking for a Senior Thermal Design Engineer to our Engineering competence center at our Kista or Gothenburg office, to take on the challenge to design and compare our future cooling concepts. We expect this engineer to be responsible for the Thermal analysis of telecom equipment and also take on the responsibility for technology studies in the electronic cooling design area. This work will be carried out in very close cooperation with our system design teams in Sweden as well as our head office in China.
Qualifications in the following areas are preferable:
- More than 5-10 years experiences on thermal design of telecom equipment;
- A deep and thorough understanding of cooling of electronics and a wide experience of CFD programs such as Ice Pack, Flotherm, Fluent, etc.;
- An expertise of conceptual design of equipment and comparison of various thermal solutions in both the cost and the functionality perspective;
- Experiences of the ‘platform, concept & product portfolio’ discussions that take place during the initial phases of a product lifecycle;
- Is likely to have produced patents and also publications at international conferences;
- Experience of cooperation with universities is a natural part of this person’s competence.
We require a Bachelor’s Degree and prefer a Master’s Degree in Mechanical and/or Thermal Engineering or equivalent background for this position.
