LEO Pharma is seeking a procurement/sourcing professional for an exciting and challenging role managing some of the company’s professional services spend.

Global Sourcing

Global Sourcing is a relatively newly established function working with strategic sourcing based on professional category management. We are more than 40 dedicated colleagues in Denmark, Ireland, France, Germany and the US. The position is based in LEO Pharma’s headquarters near Copenhagen, Denmark.

Category plans, global stakeholders, sourcing processes

Working within the Indirect Spend area of Global Sourcing and with the input and guidance of the Head of Section, Marketing & Professional Services Sourcing, you will be required to:

• create and implement category plans for consultants (excluding IT consultants), training and development providers and permanent and temporary recruitment agencies – total annual spend approximately €20m
• identify and engage with budget holders and key stakeholders globally at all levels, who engage with external suppliers to deliver consultancy, training and recruitment services
• identify and run the optimum sourcing processes for business requirements in cooperation with the business project owners, using online sourcing tools where appropriate
• negotiate contracts and commercial terms with suppliers
• contribute to the Global Sourcing LEAN initiatives
• up to 10 days of international travel will be required per annum

Experienced and ambitious

• You probably hold a master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering and have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a consultant or within an international company  
• You have relevant experience in sourcing/procurement and of developing and implementing category plans
• You have excellent communication skills and can engage with people at all levels and you have proven influencing skills
• You are a creative thinker who can offer pragmatic solutions which meet business needs whilst still delivering savings and meeting legal and regulatory requirements
• You are fluent in both oral and written English
